Nick Cox
Biography
Nick Cox joined the Mining Remediation Authority in 2017 and has headed both its salinity and metal mine departments.
Before this, Nick worked internationally for a range of mining entities, including BHP, exploring and developing Australian coal deposits.
He has also operated his own consultancy company working to explore and develop mineral and hydrocarbon deposits in the UK, US and Australia.
Nick’s knowledge and experience are now utilised to identify, develop and deliver remedial interventions to improve water quality impacted by the legacy of historical mining operations in the UK.
