Professor Neil Hyatt
Biography
Neil Hyatt was appointed to the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management in November 2019.
Neil is a Professor of Nuclear Materials Chemistry at the University of Sheffield and Head of Department of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Sheffield. Neil was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2015. Neil has more than 15 years of professional and academic research in radioactive waste management and disposal. Neil was appointed to the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management for 4 years from until .
