Natasha Fox

Biography

After completing a PhD in laser physics, Natasha started work in Dstl as an operational analyst. In this role she learnt a range of and eventually developed her own techniques to improve decision-making in Defence primarily in the C4ISTAR domain. Following this Natasha led the C4 Systems Integration team, a multidisciplinary team researching generation after next science and technology for how we should move information around the battlespace. Most recently, Natasha has been the Deputy Head of Digital Strategy, leading the team that produce the Digital Strategy for Defence.

Outside of work, Natasha lives with her partner Paul, a professor in Quantum Computing and Nuclear Physics. Together they have 3 children aged 10, 7 and 4. Her kids (particularly the 10 year old) are keen ice skaters which has led to Natasha having lessons herself over the last few years so she can now go round in a circle without falling flat on her face; yoga is definitely her exercise of choic
