The Rt Hon Baroness Evans of Bowes Park
Biography
Baroness Evans of Bowes Park was Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Lords between 14 July 2016 and 6 September 2022.
She previously served as a Baroness in Waiting from May 2015 until July 2016.
Education
She was educated at Henrietta Barnett School and at the University of Cambridge, where she studied social and political sciences.
Political career
Baroness Evans was made a life Peer in September 2014 and has previously served as Deputy Director of the Conservative Research Department.
Career outside politics
Baroness Evans was previously deputy director of Policy Exchange and the chief operating officer and director of the New Schools Network.
