Mike Lyons
Biography
Mike Lyons is the Delivery Director Civils for Phase One. Mike has worked in both the public and private sectors on some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects specialising in the Transport Sector. He joined HS2 in 2014 from Network Rail and has a wide ranging experience of delivering complex projects including London 2012 and East Coast Mainline enhancements. Mike’s responsibilities include leading the design and delivery of the main work civil engineering including early enabling works, utilities and logistics.
Mike has more than 35 years’ experience in engineering and programme management in infrastructure, buildings and extraction. He has held several senior leadership roles at HS2 including Construction Logistics Director, Programme Director West Midlands and Client Director Civils.
