Michelle Yang Osorio
Biography
Michelle joined BDUK in September 2020 as Deputy Director for Transformation and Change having had a diverse career across multiple industries including telecoms, housing and automotive prior to joining the Civil Service. Michelle collaborates across the organisation to drive sustainable and impactful transformation.
As the Head of Strategy and Transformation at Openreach, Michelle led concerted efforts across the organisation to underpin a new Full Fibre strategy. This incorporated an end-to-end strategic transformation portfolio to help future-proof Openreach’s largest infrastructure investment.
Following BDUK’s transformation in 2021 to a new target operating model Michelle is continuing to drive the next phase of change across people, capability and process efficiency, while strengthening governance for the prioritisation and delivery of digital solutions. Each of these are critical enablers for the efficient and effective delivery of the organisation’s programmes.
