Michelle Crotty

Biography

Michelle Crotty was appointed Deputy Legal Secretary and Head of Operations, Attorney General’s Office in 2015.

Education

Michelle qualified as a solicitor in 1999.

Career

After 8 years in private criminal practice, Michelle joined the Revenue and Customs Prosecution Office and moved to the Crown Prosecution Service when the two offices merged. In 2010 Michelle joined the Sentencing Council as a legal advisor and in 2011 she was appointed as Head of the Office for the Sentencing Council. Michelle joined AGO in 2014 as the Head of the Criminal Law and Justice Policy Team.
