Maxwell Irving
Biography
Max Irving arrived in the Dominican Republic in January 2018 to take up his present position as Deputy Head of Mission and HM Consul. He is also HM Consul for Haiti.
Max joined the FCO in 2011, working in Europe Directorate in London. He has been seconded to the European Commission and the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has had postings to the British Embassies in Mexico and Belgium.
He studied Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Oxford and has spent time living in France, Spain and Japan. He enjoys cooking and travel
