Matthew Webb

Biography

Matthew Webb was Deputy Head of Mission and HM Consul in the Dominican Republic from March 2016 until January 2018. He was also HM Consul for Haiti.

Matthew joined the FCO in 2007, and has worked in the Counter Proliferation and South Asia Departments at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, and has had postings to the British Embassies in Afghanistan and Venezuela.

He studied Hispanics and Translation studies at the University of Manchester and spent time living in Brazil, Spain and Japan. He enjoys music, film and travel.
