Jan Marshall
Biography
Jan Marshall was appointed Legal Secretary to the Advocate General in December 2010. She qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and joined the civil service in 1992.
Career highlights include:
- Head of the Constitutional and Parliamentary Secretariat within the Scottish government
- Head of the division advising the Scottish government’s health directorate
- Legal adviser to the Scottish government’s criminal justice division
