Mark Revell

Biography

Mark Revell took up the appointment of Deputy Chief Executive in 2010 and has worked in the Ministry of Defence for some 20 years. His previous roles include:

  • political advisor and Chief CivMil Branch in Regional Command HQ in southern Afghanistan
  • political advisor at CENTCOM in Tampa, USA
  • managing a vetting division for the Defence Vetting Agency

Mark has had numerous postings within the department with Defence Estates, as an infrastructure consultant, property manager and project manager in the UK, Falkland Islands and Canada, working on partnerships such as VANGUARD and the regional Prime Contract. Prior to that he was a Merchant Navy Engineering Officer.

Mark left the agency on 31 July 2012 to support the Afghanistan campaign.
