Mark Mallalieu
Biography
Mark Mallalieu was the Head of DFID Afghanistan.
Prior to his appointment to DFID Afghanistan, some of his posts were Head of DFID South Sudan (2010-2012) and Head of the DFID Africa Directorate in London (2006-2010).
Mark’s previous roles include Head of DFID Nepal (2004-2006) and Head of DFID South East Asia (2000-2004), based in Thailand. He has also served in Kenya and Malawi, as well as in Pakistan on secondment to the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Mark has a first class honours degree from the Open University and post-graduate qualifications in management and finance.
