Dr Marie-Odile Hendrickx
Biography
Before joining the VMD in May 2015, Dr Marie Hendrickx spent over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry in major animal health companies, mostly in the UK, with spells in France and Belgium. She held several posts including most recently, the role of European Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance and Head of a EU Pharmacovigilance group. Previously she was a Director in Regulatory Affairs and a R&D Senior Scientist involved in managing clinical studies in livestock in Europe. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Marie was a practicing veterinary surgeon for a couple of years. She is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
