Marcus Fysh MP

Biography

Marcus Fysh was Minister for Exports at the Department for International Trade between 20 September 2022 and 27 October 2022.

Before becoming a minister, Marcus was a member of the International Trade Committee from October 2016 to November 2019, and served as Deputy President of the Board of Trade. He was chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) on Education and Digital ID. He was also a member of APPGs for the Armed Forces, Housing, Education, Social Care, County Councils, and for Women Against State Pension Inequality.

Marcus was first elected as MP for the Yeovil constituency at the 2015 general election. Before entering Parliament, he worked in a British fund management firm based in London, specialising in investing in businesses in the Asia Pacific region and global companies and global government bond markets. Marcus lives with his family in East Coker.
