Dr Luc Bardin

Biography

A strategic partnering expert, Dr Luc Bardin is an advisor to world-leading companies including the Toyota Motor Corporation, and to the UK Government’s Cabinet Office and Ministry of Defence. He is chair of two companies he founded to provide consultancy services – The Strategic Brand Ltd and Strategic Partnering Ltd.

Dr Bardin started his career heading global businesses in the Burmah Castrol, Hoechst and Pechiney groups. He founded BP’s Strategic Partnerships division in 2003 and remained its CEO for over a decade. A Group Vice President for 12 years, he was Group Chief Sales & Marketing Officer of BP plc. from 2007 to 2013.

A French and British citizen, Luc holds a PhD in business management from University College London, an MBA from INSEAD and an Engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Lille. He is an adjunct professor at Imperial College London’s Business School.
