Louise MacMorran
Biography
Louise was the Head of the Governor’s Office St Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha from August 2017 to 2019. Prior to that she was the Head of International Trade in Services and Head of Core Services and World Trade Organization in the Department for International Trade.
Louise has worked widely across government including for the Ministry of Defence, Department of Health, Department of Business, Innovation, and Skills, and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. She has worked on a diverse range of issues including China, Russia, and Eastern Neighbourhood policy, EU Exit, disaster management, free trade agreements, and organisational development and capability.
Louise’s interests include scuba diving, travel, hiking, and wildlife.
