Louise Fisher
Biography
Louise has a successful track record as a senior HR leader and board member in a number of organisations in many industry sectors including Technology, Retail, Hospitality and Printing & Publishing, working for several years with organisations such as Woolworth’s, Grand Met, Top Shop/Top Man, the Forte Hotels and Restaurants Group, ICL/Fujitsu and Xerox.
Louise recently completed two terms as Chair of the Board of the CIPD, having been a Non-Executive Director and member of the Audit Committee for six years prior to this appointment. The CIPD is the UK’s professional body for HR and people development with over 150,000 members.
Louise’s most recent employment was with the Xerox Corporation where she worked for 12 years in senior International HR roles in multi-billion-dollar businesses, leading HR teams in more than 50 countries throughout Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Louise was appointed to the Low Pay Commission on 9 August 2021 and her appointment ends on 8 August 2024.
