Lorraine Jackson CBE
Biography
Lorraine Jackson CBE is Director for Information Risk Management and Assurance at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and DHSC’s senior information risk owner (SIRO). Lorraine has been at DHSC since September 2009.
In this capacity and as DHSC Race Champion, Lorraine has been a member of DHSC’s Executive Committee since June 2021.
Lorraine’s previous roles in the department include:

The Director of Information Risk Management and Assurance is responsible for:
- ensuring all information and data is managed to the highest standards
- delivering professional support and guidance to staff in DHSC and its executive agencies in how we use and protect data
- providing assurance and support in respect of information risks
