Liz Booth

Biography

Liz Booth was appointed Chief People Officer at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in October 2023. Prior to this she had a number of roles across the voluntary sector including HR Director and Director of Projects for the NSPCC and more recently Associate Director, Royal College of General Practitioners, where she was responsible for a number of change management projects.

Liz has an interest in the cultural aspects of change, having steered charity mergers co-sourcing and outsourcing projects. Her other interest is safeguarding children and vulnerable people, particularly through the design of safer selection tools.

Liz is vice chair of the charity Sense, which works with people who are deaf blind across the UK.
