Lisa Thumwood
Biography
Lisa Thumwood arrived in Minsk in August 2018 to take up her appointment as Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy. Prior to this she had been working in the political section of the British Embassy in Kyiv since late 2014.
Lisa began her career in the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in 2003 in the Estates and Security Directorate. She has also served in London in the Syria Team, China Department and G8 Team.
Lisa has a degree in Sociology and a keen interest in travelling and baking, and likes to combine the two, picking up new recipes along the way.
