Kris Krasnowski

Biography

Kris Krasnowski joined the Office for the Secretary of State for Scotland in July 2021 and is the Deputy Director for policy and delivery, including leading work on Region Deals. Prior to this he spent 5 years as a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and was responsible for setting up and leading the Government’s work on the Oxford to Cambridge Arc, negotiating and managing Devolution Deals in England and leading the department’s work on London.

Kris has also worked in HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office and DWP, as well as in senior roles in London Government and for a leading think tank. Earlier in his career he also ran a start-up in the UK and with a US firm supporting people into work in London, New York and Baltimore.
