Kevin McGurgan
Biography
Kevin McGurgan was Consul General in Toronto and Deputy Trade Commissioner for North America from August 2014 to May 2020.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1971, Kevin joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 1990. During his diplomatic career, he served in South Asia, Europe and North America. Before his role in Canada, Kevin was HM Consul General in Florida from 2010 to 2014. He was awarded an OBE for his service in Afghanistan in The Queen’s 2010 Birthday Honours List.
