Kate Harrison
Biography
Kate trained as an accountant in the NHS. She has worked in a number of NHS organisations and also spent time working for firms KPMG and Grant Thornton.
Prior to joining the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) in 2018, Kate held posts as Director of Strategy and Business Development at the West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Director of Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure at the Care Quality Commission.
Kate worked for DIO for five years as Finance Director and Director of Corporate Operations, and was appointed interim Director General Finance in August 2023 .
