Biography
Kate is Chief of Regulatory Engagement at the Regulator of Social Housing. She joined the Regulator of Housing as Director of Consumer Regulation in July 2021.

Leading the Regulatory Engagement Directorate, ensuring delivery of effective regulation in order to achieve our statutory objectives, delivering frontline planned and reactive regulation to ensure that registered providers are financially viable, well governed and meet our consumer standards, taking remedial action where necessary.
The CoRE reports to the Chief Executive and plays a key role in leadership and development of the overall strategy at the regulator, driving business improvement and the development of staff and team capacity, and ensuring regulatory approaches are continuously developed.
