Julian Hunt
Biography
Julian (Jules) Hunt was Interim Director General for Technology, Digital and Data at the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) from October 2025 to May 2026.
Jules joined DHSC following a long career in industry. He trained as a chartered accountant and is a specialist in technology assurance. Latterly, he held health leadership roles in IBM and PwC, where he led on complex delivery and provided strategic thought-leadership to organisations across the health sector, including the NHS. He brings a wealth of experience and insight in designing and delivering strategic technology solutions to improve patient experience, cost and clinical outcomes.
