Jonathan Darby
Biography
Jonathan Darby arrived at the British High Commission, Singapore in February 2017 as the Acting Deputy High Commissioner and Political Counsellor.
He joined the Foreign Office in 1999 and has spent his career focusing on North America and the Asia-Pacific. He was posted as Deputy Consul General in Chicago, USA, and spent 5 years on a break from the FCO working for the State Government of Victoria, Australia. Prior to the FCO he worked in the telecoms industry. Jonathan has an MBA and a degree in law. He comes from Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
