Jon Davies
Biography
Jon Davies was Director of the Diplomatic Academy in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from February 2014 until February 2018. Jon joined the Diplomatic Service in 1990, and has served in Cairo (twice), Kuwait and Madrid, and in a wide range of jobs in London. Before taking up the role of Director of the Diplomatic Academy, he served as Iran Co-ordinator and then Director, Middle East and North Africa, between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that he served as Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Cairo from 2007 to 2010.
