The Rt Hon John Randall

Biography

John Randall became Deputy Chief Whip, Comptroller of HM Household in May 2010. He was elected Conservative MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip on 6 May 2010.

Education

John went to Rutland House School in Hillingdon and Merchant Taylors School in Hertfordshire. He graduated from the University of London in 1979 with a degree in Serbo-Croat language and literature.

Career

John first entered Parliament in 1997. He went on to serve as Opposition Whip from 2000 to 2003 and from 2003 to 2005, and as Opposition Assistant Chief Whip from 2005 to 2010.

Personal life

John and his wife Kate have 2 sons and a daughter.
