John Montague
Biography
John Montague was appointed as the SIA’s Acting Director of Inspections and Enforcement in October 2020.
Career
John originally joined the SIA in January 2004 as a regional Head of Investigations in the north west of England. He has undertaken a range of roles since then, including managing the criminal investigation team and the roll out of regulation to Northern Ireland. More recently he has managed the regional investigation teams and lately held the role of Deputy Director, Partnerships and Interventions.
Prior to joining the SIA John worked for Parcelforce Worldwide as an operational manager, including as an Area Manager responsible for delivery and collection across the Midlands.
Education
John has an honours degree in Geography and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice.
