John Kennedy
Biography
John Kennedy is the interim Regional Director for London and took on this role in June 2015. John was appointed His Majesty’s Inspector (HMI) in 2006 and has been a Senior HMI in the London region since January 2013 and before that was a Managing Inspector. He has post-graduate qualifications in education and philosophy.
Following a successful teaching career, John held senior management positions in local authorities. He has particular expertise in the management of behaviour, attendance and safeguarding. John has led inspections of secondary and primary schools, academies and pupil referral units. He has also inspected aspects of local authority children’s services.
