John Doddrell
Biography
John Doddrell was Her Majesty’s Consul General in Sao Paulo and Director for UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in Brazil from 2010 to 2014. Previously as Director of Strategy at UKTI he developed an ambitious new strategy that positioned UKTI at the heart of the UK’s response to globalisation. John also has private sector experience, having worked as Manager in the Strategy Department of Shell International.
John’s Brazilian wife, Dilsa, is qualified as a dentist and has a master’s degree from the University of Sao Paulo and a doctorate from the University of London. John and Dilsa have a teenage daughter, Caroline.
