John Dearden

Biography

John has severe haemophilia A, and was co-infected through contaminated blood products.
John has been a trustee of Haemophilia Scotland since 2019 and has held the positions of Treasurer, Joint Chair and, since 2024, Chair.
Through Haemophilia Scotland, John has supported work to establish a Scottish memorial/tribute to those whose lives have been affected by contaminated blood.
John has extensive project management and event management experience which he is keen to bring to the work of the Memorial Committee.
