John Tucknott CMG MBE

Biography

John Anthony Tucknott is British Deputy High Commissioner, Karachi and UK Trade and Investment Director for Pakistan since May 2013.

John holds a MA (Hons) in International Studies from King’s College London. His specializations have been in the Middle East and Politico-Military issues, specializing in NBC non-proliferation and disarmament. As a senior British Diplomat, John has a wide-range of experience and knowledge in international affairs, including trade and investment promotion. John joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1977.
