Joe Dugdale
Biography
Joe was appointed as HMRC Interim Chief People Officer with direct responsibility for HR, in August 2016 and was previously Director of HR Policy and Operations.
He came to HMRC in 2013 from the Home Office, which he joined in 2007. As HR and Organisational Development director, Joe provided professional HR leadership to UK Border Agency and the Border Force, while also leading a number of functions across the Home Office including employee relations.
Prior to the Civil Service, Joe spent more than 16 years in the private sector. He worked for Centrica in a wide range of HR and management development roles for a number of areas including the energy business, the corporate HQ and as HR director for the telecommunications business.
