Jerry Haller

Biography

Jerry Haller has worked in Generation for EDF for the past 15 years, having spent the previous 20 in the aerospace business.

On joining EDF Energy he was appointed Head of Continuous Improvement and delivered the transition from the Performance Recovery programme to the creation and embedding of continuous improvement across the business.

In 2008 he led the creation of Nuclear Generation Lifetime Strategy, creating the platform for extending lives of the nuclear fleet. In 2011 his role expanded to include investment delivery across the fleet. At the start of 2014 Jerry was appointed to the Nuclear Licensee Board and Executive Team as Programmes Director, which added Supply Chain, Nuclear Fuel and Liabilities & Asset Management to his responsibilities.

In 2017 Jerry was appointed Nuclear Decommissioning Director to help prepare the business for the future and eventual closure of EDFs older nuclear plants.

Jerry graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Bath. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Aerospace Society.
