Jerry Cope

Biography

Jerry Cope spent 30 years, leaving in 2003, with the Post Office and Royal Mail. He started in personnel and industrial relations before moving into strategy and line management. He was appointed to the Post Office Main Board in 1996, taking up appointment as Group Managing Director with particular responsibility for international businesses, before becoming UK managing director. He is currently Chair of the HR and Change Consultancy T-three, and is Chair of London South Bank University, as well as a range of other unpaid appointments, including being a pension trustee. He was previously Chair of the board of governors at Kingston University and for 6 years, ending March 2011, Chair of the PSPRB. and also for 6 years, ending March 2017, Chair of NHSPRB. In addition he has worked for the further education and charity sectors.

Jerry is married with one son and lives in Crystal Palace, South London. He has an MA (in maths) from Cambridge University and an MSc (in business) from Warwick University.
