Jerry Cope spent 30 years, leaving in 2003, with the Post Office and Royal Mail. He started in personnel and industrial relations before moving into strategy and line management. He was appointed to the Post Office Main Board in 1996, taking up appointment as Group Managing Director with particular responsibility for international businesses, before becoming UK managing director. During his time at the Post Office, Jerry was a shareholder Director at Camelot. He is also Chair of the HR and Change Consultancy T-three, and was for 7 years Chair of the board of governors at Kingston University and for 6 years, ending March 2011, Chair of the PSPRB. In addition he has worked for the further education and charity sectors.
Jerry is married with one son and lives in Crystal Palace, South London. He has an MA (in maths) from Cambridge University and an MSc (in business) from Warwick University.

The Chair of the NHS Pay Review Body (NHSPRB) provide independent recommendations on the remuneration of all staff paid under Agenda for Change (AfC) and employed in the NHS. NHSPRB’s recommendations apply to all staff in the NHS, with the exception of doctors, dentists and very senior managers. The remit group includes all staff in NHS England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and accounts for just under 1.5 million NHS staff (headcount). NHSPRB’s annual reports are submitted jointly to the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State for Health, and Ministers of the Scottish Government, the Welsh Assembly Government and the Northern Ireland Executive.
