Biography

Jeremy has been British Ambassador to Paraguay since 23 July 2013. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1991 and has worked in the Research & Analysis Department on Latin American issues since then. Previous diplomatic assignments overseas include Colombia, Mexico and most recently as Charge d’ Affaires in Ecuador. The Ambassador is married to Eréndira, who is Mexican. They have two children.

British Ambassador to Paraguay

The Ambassador represents Her Majesty The Queen and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
