Jennie Barugh

Biography

Jennie has been country representative for DFID Uganda since August 2015.

She joined DFID in 2000 and has worked on international trade, aid policy and delivery as well as strategic finance. She previously led the Finance, Performance and Impact Department and, prior to travelling to Uganda, headed the UK based Ebola Crisis Unit.

Jennie has a Bachelors degree in Economics from Durham University and Masters degree in Quantitative Development Economics from Warwick University. Before joining DFID she was a Fellow of the overseas Development Institute, working with the Ministry of Finance in the Government of Lesotho.
