Victoria James

Biography

Victoria James took up post in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) as Head of Political Section at the British Embassy Abu Dhabi in July 2017.

Victoria has worked in several government departments, including on Strategy, Migration and Counter Terrorism issues in the Home Office; as Private Secretary to the Minister for the Cabinet Office covering Security, Civil Contingencies and Cyber; and as an analyst on the Gulf Region. Prior to joining the Civil Service, Victoria worked as an Archaeologist at Cambridge University. She is a graduate of University College London.
