James Toone
Biography
James joined the Foreign Office (FCO) in November 2012, having previously worked in International NGOs, and before that in UK Local Government.
During his NGO career James worked in Southern Sudan (before it became an independent country), Rwanda, and Sierra Leone.
His first job in the FCO was as Burma Desk Officer. He was Head of Prisoner Policy, Consular Dept in London, prior to taking up his role as Deputy Head of Mission in Laos.
