James Bryce
Biography
James Bryce is Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Athens and has been a member of the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office since the 1990s.
His last assignment overseas was in Beijing as the Chief Operating Officer of the UK trade and investment team in China, the largest such team in the UK diplomatic network. Before that James has lived and worked in Mumbai, Guangzhou, the Islamic world, and Rome.
When working in London, James has specialised in policy regarding the European Union, and economic matters. He began his career working for HM Treasury.
