Ian Duddy

Biography

Ian Duddy was most recently Interim Ambassador (Chargé d’Affaires) to Chile (July 2020 to February 2021). Previously he was Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Uruguay.

Ian joined the Diplomatic Service in 2000 and has carried out a variety of roles in London and over the world, include posts as Political Counsellor & Head of Political, Human Rights & Press in Geneva, Deputy Director (International) in the UK Intellectual Property Office Department of Business, Innovation & Skills and in Buenos Aires as Political & Commercial Officer.
