Iain Patterson
Biography
Iain joined the agency on 3 June 2013 as the Chief Technology Officer. Iain has been seconded from Government Digital Service to lead DVLA’s IT digital transformation.
Career
Iain’s career to date includes:
- over 20 years of Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Transformation experience.
- led many IT Transformations. Most recently the Post Office, driving all IT aspects to separate the Post Office and Royal Mail.
- CIO at London 2012 for CLM and the Olympic Delivery Authority
- CIO at Aero Inventory plc
- Head of Business Systems at British Gas Retail/Centrica PLC
