Howard Lyons
Biography
Howard Lyons was appointed Managing Director of Healthcare UK in January 2013.
After 10 years as a senior manager in London teaching hospitals, Howard left to consult on international healthcare. He has worked for public and private sector as well as development agencies such as the World Bank, Department for International Development, Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations.
His recent roles include:
- Institutional Assessment and Expenditure Review of the health system in Barbados
- establishing the Healthcare Commission in Punjab, to regulate the quality of healthcare in Pakistan
