Helen John
Biography
Helen was appointed to the BPDTS Ltd Board as a Non-Executive Director on 21 November 2016.
Helen qualified as a chartered accountant in the private sector and has spent 25 years at HM Treasury and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in a variety of finance and policy roles, as a senior civil servant since 2000.
Helen is currently head of DWP’s ALB Partnership Division which sponsors the department’s 14 arm’s-length bodies (akin to subsidiaries).
Helen is also an independent member of the Audit Committee of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). She is also a trustee of Avenues, a charity which supports people with disabilities.
