Hazel Mowbray
Biography
Hazel Mowbray was Deputy Head of Mission and Consul General at the British Embassy Khartoum from July 2021 to June 2023.
Hazel is a career diplomat. Previous postings have included Iraq (Head of Political Section) and Ethiopia (Peace and Security Adviser, African Union). Her last role prior to coming to Sudan was as Head of Consular Policy for the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in London. She has also worked on sanctions and in private office to the Permanent Undersecretary.
