Harry MacDonald
Biography
Harry MacDonald took up his appointment as High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Lesotho in September 2022. Prior to this appointment he was Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He has previously held diplomatic positions in Indonesia, Austria, and Afghanistan as well as appointments in London for the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, HM Treasury, and HM Revenue & Customs.

British High Commissioner to Lesotho
The High Commissioner is the UK government’s representative in a Commonwealth nation. They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
