Mr Guy Warrington has been appointed British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone in succession to Mr Peter West, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Mr Warrington will take up his appointment in August 2016.

They are responsible for the direction and work of the High Commission and its Deputy High Commissions and/or Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and visa and consular services.
