Graham Tidey
Biography
Graham Tidey is the current British Consul in Recife, appointed on 2 December 2015, by the former British Ambassador in Brazil, Alex Ellis. Previously, he worked as the UK Trade and Investment Manager for the North and Northeast of Brazil, promoting partnership opportunities between British and Brazilian companies.
Before coming to Brazil in 2012, Graham worked in the real estate sector in Coimbra, Portugal.

The Consul is the senior UK official in a Consulate, which is a subordinate office to the Embassy or High Commission, usually located in another major city. The Consul represents the UK government and is typically responsible for consular, visa and trade activities in their city or region.
