Graham Farrant

Biography

Graham Farrant was Chief Executive and Chief Land Registrar from 1 June 2015 to 31 December 2018.

Graham has considerable experience in both the private and public sectors, most recently as Chief Executive of Thurrock Council, where his leadership achieved significant improvements in the council’s stability, performance and reputation, quality of service and efficiency. Graham has also had spells as Chief Executive at the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham and Brentwood Council.

Graham’s private sector experience includes being Chief Executive of Leisure Connection Ltd, and Chief Executive of pmpgenesis, a sports and business leadership management consultancy.

Graham graduated from Brunel University with an MSc in Environmental Pollution Science and the University of Greenwich with a BSc in Environmental Health, leading to a successful career in environmental health, housing and regeneration at Westminster and Birmingham councils.
